Wrestling Welcomes No. 4 Nebraska In Home Opener

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Twenty-fifth ranked North Carolina wrestling begins the home portion of the 2024-25 schedule Friday night, hosting No. 4 Nebraska inside Carmichael Arena.

• Friday is the 16th meeting between the Tar Heels and Cornhuskers.

• Nebraska head coach Mark Manning began his coaching career at North Carolina as an assistant coach under Bill Lam from 1985-1993.
• In Manning's tenure in Chapel Hill, Carolina head coach Rob Koll wrestled under Manning's assistance, joining the coaching staff as a graduate assistant following his career.
