American led 18-13. UNC out-scored the Eagles, 94-37, over the final 32-plus minutes.

• Cadeau is the first Tar Heel with at least 12 points and seven assists in the first three games since Ed Cota in 1999-2000.
• Cadeau had eight assists tonight and 23 through the first three games, the most by a Tar Heel in the first three games since Kendall Marshall had 28 assists in the first three games in 2011-12.Â
• Cadeau tied his career high with four steals, tying his career high (four at Miami on 2/10/24).
• Cadeau tied his career-high free throw attempts with nine.Â
• Seth Trimble had 13 points, marking the first time he has scored in double figures in three straight games.Â
