Baseball Moves Back Start Time For Saturday's Game Against Pitt

CHAPEL Hill, N.C. - With rain in the area continuing throughout the morning, Saturday's baseball game between North Carolina and Pittsburgh has been pushed back to a 3 p.m. start at Boshamer Stadium. The game was originally scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Tar Heels (12-2, 1-0) and Panthers (8-2, 0-1) opened their weekend series on Friday with UNC posting a 2-1 win. Dalton Pence, Matthew Matthijs and Matt Poston combined for 4 1/3 shutout innings of relief with six strikeouts and no hits allowed. Kaleb Cost scored the game-winning run in the eighth on a sacrifice fly by Alberto Osuna.
