David Ford Named To 2nd Palmer Cup Team

The Golf Coaches Association of America has selected University of North Carolina junior David Ford to represent the United States in the 2024 Arnold Palmer Cup, the second straight year Ford will be competing in the international amateur golf event.
The 2024 Palmer Cup is scheduled for July 5-7 at Lahinch Golf Club in Lahinch, Ireland.
Ford is one of six players who also competed for the U.S. in the 2023 Palmer Cup, which the U.S. won 32-28, at the Laurel Valley Golf Club in Ligonier, Pa.

Ford also played on winning teams for the U.S. last year in the Walker Cup at the Old Course in St Andrews and the World Amateur Team Championship in Dubai.
Ford helped Carolina win the 2024 ACC Championship, securing one of the three team points in the championship match against Florida State.
