Kelly Earns All-America Honorable Mention For Third Time

For the third year in a row, North Carolina guard Deja Kelly has earned All-America honorable mention from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
The organization announced its 10-member All-America team and 42 additional honorable mention honorees on Thursday evening.
A three-time All-ACC honoree, Kelly led the Tar Heels in scoring in 2023-24, averaging 16.3 points per game. It marked the third year in a row she has been the team's scoring leader and averaged more than 16 points per game. With 1,858 career points, she finished the season ranked eighth on UNC's all-time scoring list.
UNC wrapped up the year at 20-13, making its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and reaching at least the second round of play for the third year in a row. Kelly, a team captain, started all 33 games for the Tar Heels.
