CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina men's and women's fencing team will host the 2025 ACC Fencing Championships, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
It is the first time the Tar Heels have hosted since 2021 and the first time it will be hosted in the Eddie Smith Field House.
"We're honored to host the ACC Championships this year," head coach Matt Jednak said.
"With the addition of Stanford to the conference, it will only add to the strength and prestige of the competition."
The ACC now has five fencing teams representing the conference: North Carolina, Boston College, Duke, Notre Dame and Stanford.
The Carolina men's fencing team will look to defend its 2024 ACC Championship title in Chapel Hill.
