Introducing The Bell Tower Block Party

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Carolina Athletics is excited to introduce the Bell Tower Block Party, a new pre-game entertainment experience for home football games this fall.

Highlighted by the new Kickoff Club presented by Modelo and the Coca-Cola® Fan Zone, the Bell Tower Block Party will begin four hours before kickoff at every home game this Fall and will include a bevy of festivities surrounding Kenan Memorial Stadium on game day – including food trucks, games, The Ram Pen featuring Rameses, the traditional Bell Tower Walk by the football team and a host of other entertainment.

At Carolina, we want to create an outstanding experience for our fans on game day, and we always are looking for ways to enhance our atmosphere," Carolina Director of Athletics Bubba Cunningham said. "Whether you are bringing your family, joining friends or attending a UNC game solo, we want you to create great memories, and the Bell Tower Block Party will offer expanded options for pre-game entertainment and fun."

The Kickoff Club presented by Modelo, located directly next to the Morehead-Patterson Bell Tower, is the perfect spot for fans to grab a drink and a bite to eat before heading into the stadium to cheer on the Tar Heels. Like the Tipoff Club that was introduced at basketball games during the 2023-24 season, the Kickoff Club presented by Modelo will be free to enter, with food and drinks – including alcohol – for purchase.

Other new additions surrounding the Bell Tower will be local food trucks, a large screen to watch other games of the day, a DJ, yard games and The Ram Pen presented by UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Rameses, The Ram Pen will be your chance to meet, pet and take pictures with our favorite live Rameses from two hours prior to kick until one hour prior to kickoff. There will also be opportunities to meet members of the Marching Tar Heels, the cheerleaders, Rameses and RJ at The Ram Pen.

The Coca-Cola® Fan Zone, located in The Pit, is a new location for fans to grab giveaways, partake in kids activities, including inflatables and try out a golf simulator. The Coca-Cola® Fan Zone will feature a DJ, food trucks, sponsor activations, autograph sessions with Carolina teams and much more.

Polk Place will still be the location to catch the Marching Tar Heels before every game, as they will perform on the steps of Wilson Library one hour prior to kickoff.

Don't forget the Bell Tower Walk, where fans can interact with the Carolina Football team as the Tar Heels make their way from South Road, around the Bell Tower, and inside Kenan Stadium.
