The North Carolina Tar Heels will play host to Alabama in the second ACC-SEC Challenge on December 4 and open conference play three days later in the Smith Center against Georgia Tech.

The ACC announced details today on the 2024 ACC-SEC Challenge as well as the league's opening weekend.

The Tar Heels and Crimson Tide will play in Chapel Hill at 7:15 p.m. on ESPN. The teams have played the previous two seasons in Portland, Ore., and Los Angeles, games won by Alabama by a combined four points.

Carolina opens ACC action against the Yellow Jackets on Saturday, December 7, at 2 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network.
