• The win was the Tar Heels' 2,400th all-time. The Tar Heels are the third team to win 2,400 games, joining Kentucky (2,425) and Kansas (2,417 prior to tonight's game vs. Duke).
• UNC improved to 494-90 all-time in the Smith Center, including 237-19 against non-conference opponents.
• UNC is 5-0 to begin a season for the second time under Hubert Davis, and the first time since the 2022-23 season. This is the 43rd season the Tar Heels have started 5-0.
• Carolina is 7-14 all-time against the Midshipmen. This was just the second game between UNC and Navy since 1959.
• Carolina has won 20 straight games when holding opponents under 40.0% from the field (Navy shot 30.4%). The Tar Heels came into the game eighth in the nation in field goal percentage defense.
• Four Tar Heels scored in double figures, the fourth time in five games this season at least four Tar Heels scored 10 or more points.

• Caleb Wilson had game highs in points (23), rebounds (12), blocks (3) and steals (4). Wilson is the first Tar Heel freshman to record three consecutive double doubles since Armando Bacot in 2019-20 (vs. Miami, at NC State and Boston College).
• Wilson had his second 20/10 game of the season (NC Central).
• Wilson has scored 103 points in five games. He is UNC's first freshman to score 100 or more points in his first five games since Cole Anthony scored 104 points in 2019-20.
• Wilson has 39 rebounds in the last three games (14 vs. Radford, 13 vs. NCCU and 12 vs. Navy).
• Jarin Stevenson scored 11 points and had a career-high eight rebounds. He grabbed three offensive rebounds for his fourth game in a row. It was the second time this season he scored in double figures.
• Stevenson led UNC in plus/minus at plus 19, including plus 13 in the second half.
• Luka Bogavac (16 points) scored in double-figures for the third straight game and fourth time this season.
• Bogavac grabbed a season-high six rebounds and tied his season high with three 3FGs. Bogavac has made multiple three-pointers in each of the last three games.
• This was the third time in five games the Tar Heels never trailed (led for 39:26).
• Carolina committed a season-high 13 turnovers.
• Navy scored 61 points, the fifth time in as many games the Tar Heels held an opponent below 75 points.
• The Tar Heels' 73 points were a season low.
• Carolina's 10 bench points were a season low.
