Nayy And Blue Play To A 4-4 Tie On Friday

Chapel Hill, NC--Â The Navy and Blue squads fought to a 4-4 tie a six-1/2 inning scrimmage on Friday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. Blue had a small 4-3 edge in base hits. There was one total error in the scrimmage.
Offensive Highlights:Â Luke Stevenson and Rom Kellis V combined for all four of Blue's base hits. Kellis was 2-4 with three RBI on a pair of singles. Luke Stevenson, who belted a 380-foot home run to right center as well as a triple, was 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored.
Macaddin Dye, who drove in three Navy runs, was 1-3 with a double. Carter French and Alex Ferrell had the other two Blue hits.
Pitching Highlights:Â Jason DeCaro, Camron Seagraves and Harrison Lewis pitched for Blue, with Ryan Lynch, Tom Chmielewski and Ryan Hench throwing for Navy.
DeCaro pitched 4.0 innings. Seagraves tossed 2.0 scoreless, hitless innings. Lynch struck out four hitters in 2.1 innings. Hench threw 2.0 scoreless innings, striking out two.
The Tar Heels will hold their next scrimmage on Saturday.
