Men's Lacrosse Welcomes Jacksonville On SECU Family House Day

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The fourth-ranked North Carolina men's lacrosse team welcomes Jacksonville on Sunday at 2 PM, on SECU Family House Day at Dorrance Field.

SECU Family House Day
• Sunday's game between the Tar Heels and Dolphins will spotlight the vital work of the SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals.
• Located only a mile from UNC Hospitals, SECU Family House has been a beacon of hope and support for families facing medical crises for many years. It provides affordable lodging, meals, and a sense of community for families of adult patients receiving treatment at UNC Hospitals, allowing them to stay close to their loved ones during challenging times.
• During the game, there will be opportunities for attendees to learn more about Family House and to support its programs through various initiatives, including fundraising efforts and awareness campaigns.

A Win Over Jacksonville Would.....
• Give Carolina their 3rd win over the Dolphins, the first since the 2021 campaign.
• Be the Tar Heels' fifth home win in 2025.
• Be Coach Breschi's 257th career win, and 165th win as the Tar Heels' leader.
Brady's Three-Game Stretch
• In the last three Tar Heel games, Brady Wambach is 56-73 (.767) at the faceoff X:
- 2/28 vs. Penn: 15-20 FOs, 8 GBs
- 3/2 vs. Princeton: 21-30 FOs, 9 GBs
- 3/8 vs. Hofstra: 20-23 FOs, 9 GBs
• Against Princeton, Wambach's 21 faceoff wins and 30 faceoff attempts were both career-highs.
• Saturday against Hofstra was his second-straight game with 20-or-more wins, as the Pittsford, N.Y. native is above 50% in five of six games this spring.
• As of March 10, Wambach is third nationally in faceoff winning percentage, as the Tar Heels rank first as a team.
Getting Defensive
• The last two seasons, Carolina is 10-0 when allowing nine-or-fewer goals, and 101-13 under head coach Joe Breschi during his career when allowing single-digit goals.
• This year, Tar Heel victories over Michigan, Stony Brook, Penn and Hofstra have seen the Carolina defense allow single-digits
