2025 ACC-SEC Challenge Set, WBB To Visit Texas

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the third consecutive season, North Carolina women's basketball is scheduled to face off against an SEC foe as the Atlantic Coast Conference revealed the match-ups for the 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge on Thursday. For the first time in the three years of the challenge, Carolina will hit the road as it travels to Texas for a meeting on Thursday, Dec. 4.
The Tar Heels face off against the Longhorns for the second time in program history and the first in Austin. The two programs previously met in 1981 in a 75-73 victory for Carolina in Chapel Hill.
Carolina claimed a win in last season's SEC/ACC Challenge, knocking off then No. 14 Kentucky in Chapel Hill, 72-53.
Tip time and television designation for the match-up against the Longhorns will be announced at a later date.
