WBB To Face Texas In ACC/SEC Challenge On ESPN2

AUSTIN, TEXAS – One of the most anticipated match-ups of the 2025-26 non-conference slate for North Carolina Women's Basketball will appear on national television, as the Tar Heels visit Texas for the 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge on Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
Traveling to Austin for the first time, the Tar Heels face the Longhorns for the second meeting between the storied programs. The two previously met in Chapel Hill in 1981 in a 75-73 victory for Carolina.
The two-day challenge features 12 teams from ESPN's Way-Too-Early Women's Basketball Top 25, including the No. 10 Tar Heels and No. 4 Longhorns.
The Tar Heels claimed last season's SEC/ACC Challenge, knocking off then No. 14 Kentucky in Chapel Hill, 72-53.
