January 8, 2026 | Men's Basketball
The Carolina men's basketball promotional schedule for the remaining 2026 home games is now available.
Â
The Tar Heels host eight more home games at the Dean E. Smith Center this season with fun promotions and themes including rally towels for every fan, LED wristbands a stripe out and more.
Â
This Saturday, Jan. 10, the Tar Heels host Wake Forest, and all fans in attendance will receive a UNC rally towel courtesy of Unifirst and Wells Fargo. Stay in your seat at halftime for the NC529 baby race. Saturday's matchup with the Demon Deacons is presented by Wells Fargo.
Â
The following two Carolina games include giveaways for UNC students. The matchup against Notre Dame on Jan. 21, presented by Dunkin, features LED foam sticks for the first 2,500 students, while the game against Syracuse on Mon. Feb. 2 will have bucket hats for the first 2,500 students through the Smith Center doors. The Big Monday matchup against the Orange is presented by Servpro of Chapel Hill.
Â
Every fan in attendance at Carolina's game against Duke on Feb. 7 will receive an LED wristband courtesy of Facebook. Fans are encouraged to get to their seats early to help be part of the pregame light show. The matchup with Duke is part of The Rivalry presented by Facebook.
Â
The game against Duke also brings back the Carolina basketball Tip Off Club presented by Modelo. The Tip Off Club is a pregame fan experience located just outside the front entrance to the Smith Center. It's the best way for Tar Heel fans to gather prior to home games in Chapel Hill. The Tip Off Club is open to all fans and provides access to entertainment, interactive yard games, food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and other sporting events on televisions throughout the area prior to tip-off. The Tip Off Club will take place before the Duke, Pitt, Louisville and Virginia Tech games.
Â
Carolina hosts Pitt for a Valentine's Day (Feb. 14) matinee presented by Bojangles before hosting Louisville on Monday, Feb. 23 for a stripe out. Carolina, in partnership with Coca-Cola, is placing a blue or white shirt on every seat, so arrive early, put on your shirt, and help stripe out the Smith Center. The team will also be wearing shooting shirts designed by the kids of Hargraves Community Center in partnership with game sponsor Lenovo.
Â
The Tar Heels'Â matchup against Virginia Tech on Feb. 28 features a halftime performance by fan favorites Christian and Scooby. The game against the Hokies is brought to you by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. Then, join Carolina at home one more time for senior day against the Clemson Tigers on Mar. 3. That game is brought to you by Harris Teeter and features a free Carolina basketball hat for the first 2500 students in attendance.
Â
Promotions are subject to change. Single-game tickets for home games are still available and can be purchased by clicking here.
