CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced women's gymnastics weekly honors Tuesday evening. JoJo Valahovic from the University of North Carolina gymnastics program was tabbed ACC Co-Specialist of the Week. The award marks her first from the ACC this season.

Valahovic posted an impressive 9.925 on vault in Carolina's meet against NC State. The sophomore's score was a new career-high, team-high for the season, and is tied for the third-best score in program history. Valahovic's performance also led to an event win.

Sunday's meet was the third time this season Valahovic has recorded a 9.900 or higher on the event. The Sagamore Hills, Ohio native ranks among NCAA and ACC leaders on vault. Valahovic ranks 13^th in the nation and second in the conference.
