No. 1 Women's Lacrosse Set To Host ECU For Senior Day Saturday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 1 North Carolina women's lacrosse is set to host ECU for Senior Day on Saturday, March 28 at Noon. The Heels are looking to bounce back from their first loss since 2024 and will look to keep their unbeaten record against ECU, which currently sits at 4-0.
The Heels' match-up with the Pirates will air on ACCNX. Dennis Cox and Andie Aldave will have the call.

- This will be the fifth match-up between UNC and ECU with Carolina holding a 4-0 advantage.
- Now in her 31st season, HC Jenny Levy now has a career record of 452-131. The 452 wins rank second all-time and her four National Championships rank fourth all-time.
- UNC continues to play one of the toughest schedules in the country. They have nine of the current Top 25 teams on this year's schedule.
- Carolina is currently outscoring its opponents 193-79 (+114), which leads the nation. Last season, the Tar Heels led the nation in scoring margin at +233 (384-151).
- Carolina's defense held opponents to 6.9 goals per game in 2025, which ranked first in both the ACC and NCAA. This year, the Heels are holding opponents to 7.9 goals per game, which is tied for 10th nationally and fourth in the ACC.
- The nation's best player, Chloe Humphrey, continues to find ways to wow people and now has 52 goals and 21 assists this season. Her 5.2 goals per game and 7.3 points per game both lead the nation. She is the only player in the country with at least 40 goals and 20 assists. She also leads the team with 14 caused turnovers.
- Eliza Osburn has been stuffing the stat sheet in '26. After 10 games, Osburn has 20 goals, 10 assists, 12 groundballs, nine caused turnovers and 20 draw controls.
- Kate Levy and Addison Pattillo were added to the Tewaaraton Award watch list for their strong starts to the season. Levy is fifth on the team in points (24) with 16 goals and eight assists. She's also added 13 groundballs, nine caused turnovers and four draw controls. Pattillo has been on a tear and is up to 31 goals on the year to go along with five assists, 11 groundballs and 13 caused turnovers.
- Kaleigh Harden continues to be UNC's unsung hero in the midfield. She leads the team with 48 draw controls to go along with seven goals, an assist, 12 groundballs and eight caused turnovers.
- Sam Forrest and Brooklyn Walker-Welch are back playing together now that Walker-Welch has returned from injury. The dynamic defensive duo continues to make life hard on opposing offenses and leads a group allowing just 7.9 goals per game, while causing 11.1 turnovers per game.
