Men's Lacrosse, Syracuse Meet Friday In ACC Semifinal

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The second-seeded North Carolina men's lacrosse team will meet No. 3 Syracuse Friday evening, in the semifinal of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship. Opening faceoff between the Tar Heels and Orange is set for 8 PM, televised on ACC Network.

Opening Faceoff
• Friday is the 35th meeting between the two programs. Carolina has won two-straight matchups, including this year's 14-9 win in the ACC opener for Carolina.
• The Tar Heels hold a 22-21 all-time record in the ACC Tournament, winning nine titles.
A Win Over Syracuse Would...
• Give Carolina their 15th win over Syracuse.
• Help the Tar Heels advance to the ACC Final for the first time since their 2019.

• Duffy earned All-ACC for the third time in his career, while Pietramala and Wambach collected conference recognition for the second-straight season.

• In March, attackman Dominic Pietramala became the 17th Tar Heel to score 100-or-more goals during their time in Chapel Hill.
• Entering Friday, the Lutherville, Md. native is tied for fifth on the Carolina career goals list, sitting seven away from tying Bert Fett's career record:
