- Comes from an athletic family: Four of her cousins played college football with two going on to play in the NFL, four of her uncles played college football with one playing in the NFL, aunt played college basketball and in the WNBA, and her mother ran track and cross country in college
- On why she chose UNC: “I fell in love with the energy and familial dynamics in terms of the coaches and there’s just something different about the air in Carolina that’s addicting. I felt like I belonged here.”
