Will begin the season at tackle, but could be shifted to guard as he gets lighter and gains more mobility. Made a lot of strides post-spring in the off-season conditioning program.

North Bergen High School
First-team all-conference and all-city and second-team all-state selection. Played for Coach Vincent Ascolese at North Bergen High School. Led team to a 7-3 record and the first round of the state playoffs in 1998. As a junior, North Bergen went 11-0 and won the state championship. Played both offensive and defensive tackle. Had 20 tackles, including two sacks.

Born on Feb. 5, 1981. Favorite teams are the New York Giants and Yankees. Favorite athlete is Redskins rookie tackle Chris Samuels. Wants to improve his pass protection skills. Favorite part of being a Tar Heel is the Pride Workouts. Post-school ambition is to work in advertising. Says the word that best describes him is "unpredictable." Enrolled in the General College.
