REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON 2017-18
Provided the team with a spark off the bench in first season on the court • ACC Honor Roll selection • Appeared in all 31 games and made first collegiate start against Grambling State in the game Coach Hatchell won game No. 1000 • Averaged 4.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game • Posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Colorado • Scored a season-high 14 points on three occasions versus Hampton, UNCW and Minnesota.
Missed the entire season after suffering a preseason injury • Is expected to be fully recovered for the 2017-18 season as a redshirt freshman.

Ranked No. 33 overall in 2016 class by Blue Star Basketball • Led Cosby High School to three 6A state championship as a sophomore, junior and senior • Named Conference 12, Region 6A and 6A state player of the year during junior and senior seasons • McDonald’s All-America nominee • Scored over 1,900 career points • Averaged 21 points, nine rebounds, three steals and three assists per game as a senior • Averaged 20.1 points, 10 rebounds and five assists as a junior • Competed for BWSL from 2012-14 and more recently with the Carolina Flames in 2015 • Daughter of Michael Jones and Tanya Hughes • Mother was a member of the 1992 US Olympic high jump team in Barcelona, Spain • Father was a team captain of the 1990 University of Colorado football team that was named national champions • Majoring in women's and gender studies and philosophy.
