As a Junior (2003)
 Ranked first on the team with 33 appearances out of the Tar Heel bullpen  Went 4-4 on the season with a 4.05 ERA  Lone save of the season and third of his career came in Carolina's 8-6 win over Mississippi State on June 1 to clinch the NCAA Regional title  Picked up two wins in five days in close victories over Duke (April 19) and East Carolina (April 23)  Struck out two in 1.2 hitless innings versus the Blue Devils  Also earned wins against Princeton and Charlotte  Allowed just one hit in two innings against the Tigers and worked 1.1 hitless frames versus the 49ers. Summer 2003: Pitched along with Garry Bakker for the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod League. 
As a Sophomore (2002)
 Made 26 appearances, all as a reliever  Ranked third on the team with an impressive 2.82 ERA  Finished with a 3-1 record  Pitched one scoreless inning of relief and recorded the win at Old Dominion on March 5  Pitched 3.2 innings of scoreless relief over two games against Auburn on March 9-10  Tied a career high with 4.1 innings pitched and picked up the win against Maryland on March 16  Struck out three batters in two innings versus Coastal Carolina on April 3 and improved his record to 3-0  Recorded his first save of the season and only second of his career with 1.1 scoreless innings of work against NC State on April 20. 
As a Freshman (2001)
 Ranked fourth on the team with 22 appearances, all out of the bullpen  Was 2-2 with a 6.57 ERA in 38.1 innings  Made six outings without allowing a hit in 10 without surrendering an earned run  Had a nice outing at Florida State on March 24, allowing just one hit and no runs in 2.1 innings of middle relief against the Seminoles  Followed that up with his longest outing of the season, and his first win, holding off Elon for the final 4.1 innings of a 5-4 win on March 27; entered the game with Carolina trailing 4-1 but allowed just three hits and no runs as Carolina scored four runs over the final two innings for the dramatic win  Struggled in outings at NC State and at Maryland but responded with fine outings against Charlotte on April 11 and Virginia on April 14  Pitched four hitless and scoreless innings against the 49ers for his first save  Came back three days later against the Cavs and allowed one run on three hits in 3.0 innings for his second win; with the Tar Heels clinging to a one-run lead, UVa threatened with runners at first and third in the top of the ninth; Brower struck out Virginia's Jeff Kamrath on a full-count fastball to end the game  Took the loss at Clemson on April 27 but came back in the season-ending ACC Tournament loss to the Tigers to pitch 1.1 scoreless innings on May 17. Summer 2001: Pitched for the Concord Quarry Dogs of the New England Collegiate Baseball League  Went 2-5 with a 5.15 ERA in 36.2 innings. 
Coyle Cassidy High School
 Played four years of baseball, two years of football (quarterback, defensive end and safety) and ran three years of track at Coyle Cassidy  An EAC all-star in 1998, 1999 and 2000  Batting average ranked third in the EAC in 1999  Team captain as a senior  Established new team records for strikeouts, wins, games, ERA and shutouts  An accomplished track athlete at 50m, 300m, 600m and the 4 x 400m relay  Member of the Leadership Assembly in 2000. Summer 2000: Pitched for Taunton in American Legion summer baseball.
