2016 - Senior Season
Started all 13 games at cornerback • Helped Carolina lead the conference in pass defense • UNC allowed just three touchdown passes to wide receivers in 2016 • Had 37 tackles on the season, two for loss, and 10 pass breakups, which ranked second on the team • Made four tackles and broke up a pass against Stanford in the Hyudai Sun Bowl • Broke up a pass and had two tackles vs. NC State • Made four tackles in the win vs. The Citadel • Broke up a pass and registered a season-high five tackles at Duke • Recorded four tackles and a pass breakup in the win at Virginia • Broke up a pass in the 20-13 win at No. 16 Miami • Made four tackles in the win at No. 12 Florida State • Had four tackles in the comeback win over Pitt, including a key stop on a screen pass on third down late in the game • Made four tackles and broke up three passes in the win over JMU • Had one tackle in the win at Illinois, but was part of a defensive secondary that limited the Illini to just 17 completions on 35 pass attempts and only 127 yards passing • Made four tackles and had a seven-yard sack in the season opener against No. 18 Georgia.

Named to the All-ACC second team by the league's coaches and the third team by ACSMA • Started all 14 games at cornerback • Finished fifth on the team with 59 tackles (43 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss, 14 pass breakups, two interceptions and one quarterback hurry • Tied with teammate M.J. 2013 - True Freshman Season
Appeared in eight games on defense and on special teams • Missed the first five games of the season with an injury • Finished the season with 11 tackles (eight solo) and one tackle for loss • Played well in the Belk Bowl win over Cincinnati with two tackles • Had a season-high three stops in the win over Virginia • Had two solo tackles and a tackle for loss in the win at NC State.

Prepstar All-Atlantic Region • Ranked the No. 8 player in North Carolina and the 28 safety in the country by Scout.com • Considered the No. 20 player in North Carolina and the nation's No. 39 safety by Rivals.com • Played in the Oasis Shrine Bowl Game, an all-star game for players from private schools in North and South Carolina • Named 2012 All-Observer Team • Two-time all-conference and all-state performer • Received the Gridiron Great award for South Charlotte • Was a nominee for the US Army Bowl • Played on both sides of the ball and was an accomplished tailback as well as a standout defensive back • Rushed 139 times for 1,299 yards and 11 touchdowns to lead his team to the NCISAA 3-A championship • Also had 14 catches and a touchdown • Coached by Jason Estep.
