2018 - Senior Season

Served as the placekicker and kickoff man in all 11 games • Converted 18-of-28 field goals and all 31 PATs • Also kicked off 56 times for a 62.5 average and 32 touchbacks • Went 4-of-4 on FG attempts at ECU, including three from over 40 yards • Added four makes against Virginia Tech • Converted on three FGs at Syracuse, including a 48-yarder • Went 2-of-2 against Georgia Tech • Added two FGs versus NC State • Converted one FG against Cal, Pitt and Miami.

2017 - Junior Season

Made 9 of 14 field goals and 37 of 38 extra points for a team-leading 64 points • Missed just one field goal attempt from inside 40 yards • Also solid on kickoffs, tallying touchbacks on 30 of 59 kicks • Made all three extra points at NC State • Converted 8 of 9 extra points and added a 26-yard field goal in the win over Western Carolina • The nine PAT attempts tied a school record • Made 2 of 3 field goals, including a career-long 51-yarder, and all four PATs in the win at Pitt • Also connected on a 48-yarder later in the game that would have also been his career long • Made two field goals, including a 45-yarder that was his first career make from 40-plus yards, against Miami • Finished 6 of 6 on extra points and added a 35-yard field goal in the win at Old Dominion • Made a 39-yard field goal against Cal, his first career attempt • Also made three PATs in the season opener against the Bears.

2015 - True Freshman Season

Made his only point after attempt of the season in a win over Duke in 2015 • Attempted both of Carolina’s onside kicks in the 2015 ACC Championship Game vs. Clemson • His first attempt was successfully recovered by teammate Hunter Crafford, but the play was negated by an offside penalty • Redshirted in 2014.

Selected to the U.S. Army All-America all-star game • AP all-state selection • As a senior, Jones made 8 of 14 field goal attempts, including a long of 49, and converted on 59 of 61 extra point attempts • Selected to play on North Carolina’s Shrine Bowl team • Ranked the No. 8 kicker in the nation by Scout.com • Listed as the No. 5 kicker in the nation by 247sports.com • Made 8 of 10 field goals as a junior • Coached by David Howle.
