Ranked the No. 1 quarterback in New Jersey • Named a PrepStar All-America • Earned all-state honors as a senior and was named to the 2002 South New Jersey All-Star Team • Threw for 2,190 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior and completed over 60 percent of his passes • Did not start playing football until his freshman year in high school, but was the starting quarterback as a sophomore • Threw for over 5,000 career yards and 59 touchdowns • High school teammate of Carolina commitment Joe Kedra • Coached by Dennis Scuderi • Also started on the basketball team and helped win a state championship as a sophomore • Born on February 26, 1985 • Son of Barbara and Vincent Cangelosi.
