2002 Season: Played the third string goalie role but dud not see any game action.

2001 Season: Saw the first action of his career as a Tar Heel in UNC’s season-ending win over Pfeiffer, playing 16:30 in the goal.

2000 Season: Was an outstanding practice player but did not see action in any regular season games as a freshman.

Prep: Graduated from the Severn School in June 1999...was a standout goalkeeper there as well as a two-time letterman in football...as a senior he was named second-team All-Metro and second-team All-County by the Baltimore Sun...also earned Metro Athlete of the Week honors...member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Given name is Richard A. Larkin, III...has three brothers and one sister...his brother, Mattie, is a sophomore goalie at Princeton.
