2000 Season: Won the Jay Gallagher Award as the team’s most outstanding freshman player...was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 2000 ACC Championship...named to the 2000 ACC Academic Honor Roll...played in all 14 games for UNC...was among the team leaders in scoring with 20 points on 13 goals and seven assists...had 19 ground balls and seven takeaways...had a monster game in the ACC Tournament semifinals against Virginia when he scored five goals while taking only six shots...scored two goals and had one assist against Johns Hopkins...had two goals in the 15-9 win over UMBC and a pair of assists in the 11-10 overtime victory over Navy...had a season-high four ground balls against Duke.
