General: Was the third defensive long-stick middie last year...Tar Heels seek to keep him healthy and on the field...had some back and knee issues last fall...expected to be #2 man at LSM spot this spring...missed most of his freshman year after suffering season-ending knee injury just two games into campaign...great between the lines and on ground balls...possesses solid communication skills and one-on-one ability.
2016 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in 16 games...led all long-stick defensive midfielders with 28 ground balls...also had five caused turnovers...had a season-high six ground balls in regular-season win over Notre Dame...scooped up five GBs versus Richmond and four against Furman...tapped for ACC Academic Honor Roll for third straight year.
2015 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in four games...had two caused turnovers in win over UMass...scooped up two ground balls against Manhattan...was active in Carolina Leadership Academy as a Rising Star...also served as a CREED Mentor in the bCLA...named to ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2014 (Freshman): An excellent addition to the defensive corps from the high school class of 2013...appeared in two games at defense before suffering a season-ending injury…picked up three ground balls on the season…named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

If I possessed the gift of time travel, I would go back to our national championship game and watch as a fan.
