General: Three-year letter winner for the Tar Heels...can play both in the midfield and on attack...is likely to run in the first midfield unit for the Tar Heels this season along with Bryant Will and Austin Garrison...has scored 18 goals...an extremely athletic player...Coach Haus says he is as improved as any player on the team since last year...member of ACT (Athletes Coming Together) mentoring group in the UNC athletic department where he helps freshman athletes acclimate to college life.
2001 Season: Had a solid junior campaign...played in all 12 games for the Tar Heels...had 10 goals and nine ground balls...finished fourth on the team in goals scored with 10...scored two goals each in games against Bucknell, Navy and Delaware in back-to-back-to back games...also had single goals against Fairfield, Butler, Maryland and Pfeiffer...had a season high three ground balls against Fairfield and two versus Bucknell.
2000 Season: Played in all 14 games for the Tar Heels as a sophomore...scored five goals and had one assist...his best game of the season came against Lehigh on May 4 when he had one goal, one assist and one ground ball.
1999 Season: Had a solid freshman year...saw action in all 15 games as one of Carolina’s top attack reserves...started games against Princeton and Maryland...had three goals on the season, including one in his first collegiate appearance against Colgate.
Prep: Played soccer, basketball and lacrosse at Concord-Carlisle High School...all-scholastic and all-league choice twice and an All-America his senior year in lacrosse...played on Dual County League and state lacrosse champions in 1998...led team with 102 points that season...won the student government award at Concord-Carlisle High School.
