Combined with Tyler Hansbrough and Wayne Ellingon to score the second-most points in a season by a Tar Heel trio (1,976, second to 2,051 points by Antawn Jamison, Shammond Williams and Vince Carter in 1997-98) • Fourth on the team in scoring at 11.5 points a game • Scored 63 points in the last four regular-season games (15 vs. Wake Forest, 18 at Boston College, 12 vs. FSU and 18 at Duke) • The 63 points (15.8 ppg) are the most in any four-game stretch in his career.

January: Three-pointer at Clemson with 1:37 to play in regulation pulled UNC within a point at 81-80 after trailing 81-74 • Matched his career-high with seven assists and added 14 points, six rebounds and three steals against UNC Asheville • Played one of his most active games as a Tar Heel in the 93-62 win over NC State as he scored 13 points, grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds, handed out six assists and blocked four shots • Career-high six offensive rebounds • Was his second career double-double (first since freshman year) • Numerous end-of-game heroics in the win at Georgia Tech, including the winning free throw, a game-saving blocked shot and two key defensive rebounds • Finished with 10 points, two blocks and two steals • Runner in the lane tied the game at 76-76, erasing UNC's last deficit of the game • Grabbed a defensive rebound with 23 seconds to play and the game tied at 82 • Was fouled, hit one free throw for the lead, then blocked Zack Peacock's shot in the lane that would have given Tech the lead with six seconds to play.

March: Scored 12 of his 18 points at Boston College in a 32-8 Tar Heel rally that keyed UNC's largest-ever road comeback victory • Combined with Wayne Ellington to score as many points as BC, 26-26, in the second half • With BC leading by 17, Green hit four three-pointers in a span of 10:12 - the first three cut BC's lead to 14, nine and three points and the fourth gave UNC a 76-69 lead with 6:38 to play • Had 12 points and seven rebounds and was the defensive player of the game in home win over Florida State • Hit a pair of threes 90 seconds apart that gave UNC its first double-digit lead • A standout on both ends of the floor in the 76-68 win at Duke • Led all players on both teams in scoring with 18 points and a career-high seven blocked shots, added eight rebounds and two steals and was Carolina's defensive player of the game • Marked the first time in his career he scored in double figures in four consecutive ACC games • Most blocks by a Tar Heel since Brendan Haywood had seven at Florida State on Jan. 20, 2001 • Blocked six of Duke's 29 two-point attempts in the second half • Helped UNC block 15 shots, second-most in UNC history • Scored 10 of UNC's first 20 points as UNC built a 20-9 lead • Scored the final two baskets of the game - an offensive rebound tipin with 48 seconds to play to give Carolina a 74-68 lead and a dunk with 29 seconds left to cap the scoring • Helped UNC hold Duke to a season-low field goal percentage of .329.
ACC Tournament: Averaged 8.0 points and 2.0 rebounds • Scored 12 points and was UNC's defensive player of the game in the championship game win over Clemson • Helped limit the Tigers to 42.0 percent shooting from the floor • Scored seven points, two on a nifty spin drive and bank shot and the final three from long range, in a 19-10 Tar Heel run that gave UNC a 72-59 lead • Fouled out with 5:54 to play • Had a key block of a Jeff Allen shot in the lane late in the semifinal win over Virginia Tech • On the winning play against the Hokies, he tipped Ty Lawson's missed shot toward Tyler Hansbrough, who made a 15-footer with less than a second to play.
NCAA Tournament: Averaged 10.2 points and shot 41.9 percent from the floor in five games • Was 9 for 26 from three-point range • Had 15 points and a season-high tying five turnovers in Final Four loss to Kansas • Hit 3 of 9 three-pointers against the Jayhawks • Key contributor in Carolina's East Regional wins over Washington State and Louisville • Had 15 points in the Sweet 16 vs. the Cougars, 12 of which came in the first half as UNC built a 35-21 lead • Added three first-half steals • Made three three-pointers • Added 11 points and two steals in regional final vs. Louisville, going 6 for 6 from the free throw line • Suffered a cut above his left eye in the first half that necessitated him getting four stitches, the second time this year he needed stitches during a game (Rutgers) • Had eight points and four assists in second round win over Arkansas • Had six rebounds and three assists vs. Mount St. Mary's.

Season Notes: Leading scorer off the bench at 5.2 points per game • Shot 84.8 percent (39 of 46) from the free throw line • Second on the team with 25 blocked shots • Made 18 consecutive free throws from 1/24/07 to 2/17/07 • Scored in double figures four times as a sophomore and 13 times in two years • Had a season-high 14 points vs. Saint Louis, 12 at Wake Forest and vs. Miami and 10 at Clemson • Was 4 for his last 32 from three-point range.
Game Highlights
December: Made 4 of 8 shots from the floor and had a career-high three steals against FAU • Had a career-high seven assists and added two blocked shots and eight rebounds against Dayton • That was the first game in his career he led the Tar Heels in assists (also led UNC that game in rebounds) • Was one of the stars of the game in the win at Saint Louis as he scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds • Was his first double-digit scoring effort since he had 15 against Murray State in the first round of the 2006 NCAA Tournament • Made a career-high four three-pointers against the Billikens (made five three-pointers in the first 10 games) • Scored eight points in a season-high 23 minutes against Florida Atlantic.
January: Scored all seven of his points as part of a 22-6 second half run by the Tar Heels that sent UNC from down 5 to ahead by 11 in the win over Virginia • Hit a runner in the lane, two free throws and then capped the run with a three-pointer that gave Carolina a 63-52 lead • One of four Tar Heels in double figures with 10 points at Clemson • Scored six of his 10 points in the first half as UNC built a 13-point lead • Carolina's defensive player of the game (first time as a Tar Heel) and one of five to score in double figures in win at Wake Forest • Had 12 points and was 3 of 5 shooting threes • Scored in double figures for the fourth time this year and third time in the last five games with 12 points against Miami • Had three assists, a block and two steals and did not turn the ball over • Went 5 for 5 from the free throw line (season highs).
February: Led all players on both teams with eight rebounds and added eight points, a season-high three blocks and two steals in the win over NC State • Made two three-pointers, his first game with multiple threes since he hit three at Wake Forest on Jan. 24 • Broke a 1 for 14 stretch with a first-half three • Tied his season high with eight rebounds.
NCAA Tournament: Played 18 minutes (most since 20 at Wake Forest on Jan. 24) and had eight points, eight rebounds and four assists in the comeback win over Southern California • Most assists since he had seven vs. Dayton on Dec. 31 • First time he scored three baskets in a game since NC State on Feb. 21 • First made free throws since Boston College on Feb. 17 • Eight rebounds matched his season high (Dayton and NC State on Feb. 21) • Gave Carolina its first lead of the game (which it would not relinquish) as he tipped in a missed lay-up by Wayne Ellington for a 60-59 lead with 7:03 to play • Had a steal, offensive rebound, basket and assist in a two-possession span that gave Carolina a three-point lead • Was 0 for 6 from the floor (0 for 4 3FG) against Georgetown.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2005-06)
Season Notes: Leading scorer off the Tar Heel bench (and fourth overall) with 7.5 points per game • Shot 35.5 percent from three-point range and 79.2 percent from the free throw line, the second-best free throw percentage on the team • Scored in double figures nine times • Led UNC with 32 blocked shots • Had multiple blocked shots in 12 games with a high of three on four occasions (twice vs. Maryland) • The first Tar Heel freshman and first non-starter to lead the team in blocks since Rasheed Wallace had 63 in 1993-94 • Also became the first perimeter player ever to lead Carolina in blocks • Made 20 of his last 45 (44 percent) from three-point range • Hit at least one three in 14 different games • Had one double-double • Averaged 3.7 rebounds per game, but had at least six in eight different games.

November: Scored 17 in the season-opener against Gardner- Webb, connecting on 3 of 5 from three-point range and 6 of 6 from the free throw line • Grabbed nine rebounds in win over Cleveland State • Blocked three shots against Illinois.
December: Posted his first double- double with 15 points and 11 rebounds against UNC Asheville.
January: Led all players on both teams with seven rebounds in win over NC State • Added two assists and two steals and did not have a turnover in 17 minutes • Scored seven points at Virginia Tech, including a buzzer-beating three-pointer at the end of the first half • Key in Carolina's 81-80 win at Florida State • Scored 11 points with two assists and no turnovers in 14 minutes • Went 4 for 7 from the floor, including 3 for 3 from three-point range, the best single-game three-point performance by a Tar Heel • Scored the last five points of the first half after FSU had a 50-37 lead • Then hit back-to- back three-pointers to give Carolina a 61-59 lead, its first of the second half • Had 16 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals against Boston College • Made 5 of 9 from the floor, including 3 for 5 from three-point range • Scored in double figures in consecutive games for first time • Hit back-to-back threes in the first half that helped UNC build a 24-15 advantage • Had 13 points (eight in the second half) and blocked two shots in 86-69 win over Arizona.
