he scored in double figures and had five or more assists • Tied his career high with five threes and totaled 17 points vs. Michigan State • Hit three 3FGs, two of which were part of UNC's 17-0 run after the Tar Heels trailed by 11, and another that gave UNC a 40-31 lead at the break • One of the top defensive efforts of the season in the ACC semifinals vs. Pittsburgh as the primary defender vs. two blocks and a three-pointer with 4:10 to play that gave UNC a nine-point lead • Hit a 12-foot bank shot with 1:14 to play that narrowly beat the shot clock to give UNC a 75-67 lead in the win over Oklahoma • Made a career-high four steals, which helped UNC limit the previously unbeaten Sooners to a season-low 69 points and led to 24 Tar Heel points off turnovers • Had three assists, three steals and two blocks (tied career highs in blocks and steals) to go with 10 points vs. Kentucky • Tied his career best with eight field goals, had 20 points and tied for the team lead with five assists in Madison Square Garden vs. UConn • Was the second time this year with five or more assists and fourth game making at least three 3FGs • Nine of his 11 points in the second half vs. FSU • Scored UNC’s first six points and totaled 15 of his 20 in the first half in the win over Tennessee • Set a career-best with four 3FGs (three in the second half to help UNC overcome a six-point SOPHOMORE SEASON AT STANFORD (2022-23)
Averaged 10.5 points and 5.8 rebounds, led Stanford and was eighth in the Pac-12 in assists with 3.7 per game • One of seven players in a major conference to average at least 10.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists • One of only two players in the Pac-12 in the top 15 in rebounding and top 10 in assists • Was second on the team in scoring and rebounding • Scored in double figures 20 times, including 10 straight games in Pac-12 play to end the season • Had 76 assists and 39 turnovers in his last 17 games • Season-high and career-best 24 points vs. Ole Miss in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., when he was 6 for 12 from the floor, 3 for 5 from three and 9 for 10 from the free throw line • Totaled 12 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in the Cardinal’s upset win over No. 4 Arizona.

The Pac-12 Freshman of the Year • Six-time Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, the second-most in league history • Made honorable mention all-conference • Stanford Athletic Board Awards Conference Athlete of the Year • First Cardinal to win Pac-12 Freshman-of-the-Year honors since Casey Jacobsen in 1999-2000 • Averaged 10.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists • His 6.7 rebounds were the second-most ever per game by a Stanford freshman • One of two Pac-12 freshman to average double figures in scoring • Ranked in the top 10 in several categories by a Stanford freshman – second in rebound average, sixth in assists, ninth in three-pointers and steals and 10th in scoring • Season-high 21 points, one of 17 games in double figures, in a win over No. 5 USC • Career-high nine assists in a win at Oregon State • Had five double-doubles, including three in league play vs. USC, Arizona State and Washington • Scored with 0.7 seconds to play against Dartmouth to send the game to overtime, where Stanford won.
