1998-99: Played in three of Carolina's fall tournaments...won the first tournament in which he participated wearing a Tar Heel uniform - the Keswick Club Cavalier Classic where he captured the championship by firing an 11-under-par 202 total...tied for 30th place at the Mauna Kea Resort Invitational...also played in the Rolex National Intercollegiate Match Play Team Championships ...played in all eight of Carolina's spring events and posted four top 20 finishes...top finish was a tie for 16th place at the NCAA Championships ...tied for 17th at the Seminole Classic and tied for 18th at the ACC Championship and the UNC Charlotte Birkdale Classic...
