General Info: Could compete for a spot in the starting lineup ... named to the 1999-00 ACC Honor Roll for the second consecutive year...redshirted during the 1996-97 campaign.
1999-00: Played in one tournament for the Tar Heels in the fall, the Iron Duke Classic where he tied for 86th.
1998-99: Played in two fall tournaments...tied for seventh place at the Tom O’Briant Memorial, a B-team tournament...broke into the starting lineup and tied for 34th place at the Mauna Kea Resort Invitational, the final event of the fall campaign... played in one B-team tourney in the spring, the Lonnie D. Small Intercollegiate where he tied for 26th.
1997-98: Played in two B-team tournaments ... tied for 37th place at the First National South Intercollegiate during the fall campaign ... played in one tournament in the spring, competing as an individual...tallied an 88th-place finish at the Birkdale Collegiate Classic.
Amateur: 1994 North Carolina Junior Champion...1995 and 1994 Mid-Pines Christmas Tournament Champion ...finished second in the Carolina’s Junior in 1994...won qualifier for U.S. Junior in 1995...finished in the top 25 in 1995 Rolex Junior...placed fourth in the 1996 North and South Junior.
Prep: Won conference tournament last three years... conference player of the year last three years...all-state and player of the year in region last two years.
