Fall ‘02: Played in all three of Carolina’s fall tournaments...top finish was a tie for third place at The International Collegiate in St. Andrews, Scotland, the first event of the fall campaign...one of 24 college golfers selected to play in the 28th annual Western Refining Golf Classic in El Paso, Texas, where he tied for sixth place at 217.
2001-02: Played in all 14 of Carolina’s tournaments...in the fall, top finish was a tie for 28th place at the Mason Rudolph Championship...also tied for 31st at The Ridges Intercollegiate and tied for 33rd at the Carpet Capital Classic...posted five top-30 finishes in the spring...was the runner-up at last spring’s The Intercollegiate where he set the course record, previously set by himself, at UNC’s Finley Golf Course firing an eight-under-par 64 in the second round...was the low Tar Heel at the NCAA Championship, tying for 13th place with a two-under 282 score...tied for fifth place at the Birkdale Collegiate Classic, tied for 10th at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship and tied for 26th place at the NCAA East Regional.
2000-01: Played in all 13 of Carolina’s tournaments...tied for 13th place at the Duke Golf Classic and tied for 26th at The Ridges Intercollegiate in the fall...carded four top-20 finishes in the spring...tied for 12th place at the Cavalier Classic, tied for 14th place at The Intercollegiate, tied for 16th at the Cleveland Golf/ASU Invitational and tied for 18th at the ACC Championship...also tied for 22nd place at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate and tied for 23rd at the Seminole Intercollegiate...presented the Mike McLeod Memorial Award for his overall contribution to the team.
1999-00: Played in three tournaments for the Tar Heels in the fall...top finish was a tie for 19th place at the Iron Duke Classic...played in three tournaments in the spring, including one as an individual...tied for 32nd place at the San Juan Shoot-Out.
Amateur: Posted top-15 finish at 2002 Dogwood Invitational...advanced to round of 16 in 2002 North and South Amateur...finished in sixth place at the 2001 Dogwood Amateur...Champion of 1999 Pizza Hut Invitational...runner-up at the 1999 AJGA Clubcorp Invitational...also runner-up at 1999 AJGA Pineisle.
