Jake Peden, 6-2, 195 pounds
Breschi on Peden: Started in the fall with Jack Rowlett out of the lineup due to injury…did a nice job…very serviceable player…a solid veteran and senior leader…a very good position type defender.
2018 (Junior): Played in all 14 games…started on close defense in win at Johns Hopkins…scored first career goal against Mercer…had seven ground balls and three caused turnovers on the season…had a pair of ground balls against both Lehigh and Richmond.
2017 (Sophomore): Had a very good fall in 2016 heading into his sophomore year...saw playing time at close defense on ACC championship squad…played in 14 games overall and started on close defense against Furman and Lehigh…had seven ground balls and two caused turnovers…had a pair of ground balls against both Furman and Lehigh.
2016 (Freshman): Played in one game as a freshman, seeing action against Manhattan on NCAA championship team.

My favorite thing about wearing Carolina Blue is representing coaches, teammates and alumni.
I love competing for this incredible coaching staff because they truly care for us as men.
My most underrated strength about my lacrosse game is my communication.
My best friend on my high school lacrosse team was Mike Risser and he is now playing for Gettysburg.
Every high school recruit should dream of becoming of the great family tradition.
Section #2: Your Interests
An ideal Saturday afternoon in the summer is spent on a beach.
My teammate with the best taste in music is Charles Kelly.
My favorite professional sports team is the Philadelphia Eagles.
The best movie I’ve ever seen on a lacrosse bus trip is Shutter Island.
The foreign country I would love to visit most is Italy because of the landscapes.

My favorite tailgate foods are burgers and water.
My favorite fast food restaurant is Chick-Fil-A.
Sweet, salty or both? Both. Pretzel M&Ms.
My favorite food made by a friend is Jack Halpert’s flank steak.
My favorite Chapel Hill dining spots are Lucha Tigre/IP3.

If I possessed the gift of time travel, I would go nowhere because of the butterfly effect.
The person in history I would most want to have dinner with is my great great great great great grandfather.
People would be very surprised to know I enjoy cleaning.
In a quarter century I would love to be living wherever life takes me and working at something I am passionate about.
The most interesting person I’ve met in my time at UNC is Sally Mack because of her enormous heart.
