Meghin Williams-Banx serves as Assistant to the Athletic Director and Director of Basketball Operations for the Tar Heel women's basketball program. She joined the Carolina staff in May of 2019.
Prior to coming to UNC, Williams-Banx spent the 2018-19 school year as an Assistant Director for Internal Operations at UNCG.
Williams-Banx spent the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons as Princeton's Director of Women's Basketball Operations. The Tigers reached the NCAA Tournament both seasons after winning the Ivy League's regular season and tournament titles.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska, Williams-Banx helped the Cornhuskers to two NCAA Sweet 16 appearances during her playing career, from 2009-13. She earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting in 2014.
Williams-Banx served as a student assistant at Nebraska during the 2013-14 season. She was selected to participate in the "So You Want to be a Coach" program at that year’s Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) National Convention.
She spent two seasons (2014-15 and 2015-16) as a graduate assistant manager at Nebraska while earning her master's degree in education and administration.
