Erin Berg continues in the Carolina volleyball program after a stellar four year playing career as a setter with the Tar Heels.
Berg led the 1998 Tar Heels to the most successful season in UNC history, advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. After the 1998 season, Berg became the third player in Carolina history to be named ACC Player of the Year. She was named to the All-ACC Tournament and AVCA All-District III teams, and was awarded the UNC Athletic Director's Scholar Athlete Award.
Berg owns all UNC assist records, including career assists with 5,751, career assist average with 12.56, single-season assists with 1,780 in 1998, and single-season assist average with 13.59, also in 1998. While helping to coach the setters this fall, Berg will be completing her bachelor's degree in physical education and business.
