Peppers Named All-America by CNNSI.com

University of North Carolina defensive end Julius Peppers has been named to the CNNSI.com All-America team. It is the second consecutive season he has earned All-America honors from CNNSI.com.
The 6-6, 285-pound junior finished the year with 63 tackles, 19 tackles for loss for 74 yards, 9.5 sacks for 56 yards, three interceptions and nine pass breakups. A finalist for the Lombardi, Nagurski and Bednarick Awards, Peppers also has been named first-team All-America by Football News and the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA). He was also named the Chevrolet Defensive Player of the Year.
