Boone Doubtful for Clemson Game

University of North Carolina freshman guard Adam Boone sprained his left ankle when he slipped on wet asphalt after practice Thursday night and is expected to miss Sunday's game at Clemson.
oone will not practice today and using crutches to get around. His status will be re-evaluated on a day-to-day basis, but he is not expected to be ready when the top-ranked Tar Heels meet the Tigers at Littlejohn Coliseum on Sunday at 4 p.m.
oone started the first seven games at point guard this year and is one of the top backcourt reserves for UNC. He has 37 assists and 13 steals in 23 games this year. He has played in all 23 of Carolina's games thus far.
Kris Lang, who did not start against Maryland due to a sprained ankle, returned to practice Thursday (he did not practice Monday or Tuesday and the team was off Wednesday). He is expected to play at Clemson.
