BALTIMORE, MD. - North Carolina moved up into a tie for 13th this week in the Warrior/InsideLacrosse.com media poll. The Tar Heels have a rough week ahead as they meet #9 Duke Wednesday and #3 Maryland Saturday.
There's a new No. 1 in the poll this week after former No. 1 Syracuse fell to then-seventh-ranked Johns Hopkins Saturday, 11-10. Princeton, which beat Hofstra, 10-5, Saturday, takes over the top spot.
While preseason No. 2 Tigers are now the unanimous No. 1, five different teams received votes for the No. 2 spot.
Notre Dame jumped from No. 8 to No. 3 after two wins over Virginia, 11-8, and Loyola, 10-7.
