CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Jeff Sonke and Bobby Gormsen continued to receive honors for their 2001 play on Friday as the two members of the Tar Heels' 2001 University of North Carolina men's lacrosse team were named honorable mention All-Americas by 360Lacrosse.com.
Sonke, a senior attackman, and Gormsen, a senior defenseman, were both named earlier this week as U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-Americas with Sonke being named to the second team and Gormsen to the honorable mention squad.
oth seniors were also singled out earlier this week to play in the 2001 USILA Senior All-Star Game on Saturday, June 9 at Troy, N.Y.
