The 29-point defeat is UNC's worst-ever in the Smith Center. Mike Dunleavy led all scorers with 23 points for Duke. All five Blue Devil starters scored in double figures as they hit 56.9 percent of their field goal attempts as a team. Duke took 65 shots to Carolina's 44 field goal attempts.
