NEWS AND NOTES
QUOTING MIKE FOX:
Carolina head coach Mike Fox had the following to say after Sunday's 12-5 win over No. 1 Clemson:
"There's a fine line between winning and losing. We could have easily one of these other two, Friday or Saturday. We could have easily won, and should have won the game last Sunday (at Wake Forest), so we're 2-4 over the last two weekends and we could easily be 4-2. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. We're going to continue to play well.
"Our team today played with a sense of urgency and I think a chip on their shoulder and maybe a little meanness today. That was important for us to do against a good Clemson team.
"We're 10-5 (in the ACC). We beat Florida State, we beat Clemson. I'd feel a lot better if we had won two out of three, but I'm happy with where we are. I think our program has made strides, but we've still got to keep going. We're not there yet."
NEXT WEEK (PROBABLE STARTER):

Saturday (4/20) vs. N.C. State at 2 p.m. (Garry Bakker)
Sunday (4/21) vs. N.C. State at 2 p.m. (Daniel Moore)
