Brandan Wright has scored in double figures in his first 15 games as a Tar Heel. In case you're wondering, the record for most consecutive games that a Carolina freshman has reached double figures to open his career is the 20 game streak amassed by Rashad McCants.

Over the last 19 seasons, four Carolina teams have started the year 14-1. All four (1993, 1995, 1998, and 2005) ended the year in the Final Four; two of the four won the national title.

Danny Green's 2.40 A/TO ratio is three times better than his freshman year figure of 0.80.

Carolina is averaging 20.7 assists per game. That would be the highest figure since the 1989 team averaged 21.3 assists per game.

The Tar Heel freshman record for blocked shots is 67, set by Sam Perkins in 37 games during the 1981 season. Brandan Wright currently has 23 blocks in 14 games.
