CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina (25-2) plays the first of two final home games when the Tar Heels welcome Miami to Carmichael Auditorium Sunday afternoon at 2. Carolina is coming off a 72-65 loss at NC State on Friday. The Tar Heels are ranked No. 2 in the nation in both polls for the 15th straight week. Miami is 11-16 after a 66-45 loss to Georgia Tech on Thursday. The Hurricanes are unranked.

MIAMI SERIES NOTES
North Carolina is 6-2 all-time against Miami, including a 1-1 mark in Chapel Hill.
Carolina has won three straight in the series, including a 90-57 win last year in Coral Gables.
Miami's last win in the series came at the end of the 1991-92 season. The Hurricanes defeated the Tar Heels 86-72 in an NCAA Tournament second round game in Miami.
Since the Hurricanes joined the ACC for the 2004-05 season, Carolina has won all three meetings.
