Four Tar Heels Named To All-ACC Academic Team For Men's Lacrosse

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Four Tar Heel student-athletes helped headline this year's All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men's Lacrosse team as announced Monday by Commissioner John D. Swofford. The UNC players named to this year's squad included freshman midfielder Mike Burns, junior midfielder Fletcher Gregory, freshman defenseman Michael Jarvis and sophomore attackman Matthias McCall.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
