"Tar Heel Tip-Off will be a great opportunity for our fans to get a behind the scenes view of Carolina Basketball as they kick off the 2007 - 2008 season," said Rick Steinbacher, Carolina's associate athletic director for marketing and promotions. "The Signing Day Live show on TarHeelBlue.com this past February was a unique look at not only Carolina Football's signing class, but also a chance to get to know the coaches and players of UNC Football. In that same way, Tar Heel Tip-Off will feature Coach Williams and his staff, and feature original segments of Carolina players past and present. Tar Heel Tip-Off will be an in-depth look inside college basketball's most storied program. TarHeelBlue.com is the most viewed collegiate website in the country and we want to provide that loyal fan base with more and more unique audio and video content such as Tar Heel Tip Off."
The Road to Blue Heaven is Wes Miller's inside look at the 2006-07 Carolina basketball season. The first book of its kind covering Carolina basketball, it is expected to be in bookstores beginning next week.
