Carolina is 37-0 in Wayne Ellington's three-year career when he makes at least 50 percent of his field goal attempts.

Carolina's 24-point win over Clemson was Carolina's biggest win over a top-10 team since the Tar Heels defeated Duke, 97-73, on Feb. 5, 1998.

This season is the first time Carolina has posted two 15+ point victories over top-10 opponents since the 1998 squad beat Duke (97-73) and UCLA (109-68). The 1998 team's three such wins are a school record.

Over the last 25 years, Carolina is 6-7 after layoffs of at least seven days during ACC play. The Tar Heels defeated Boston College after an 8-day January layoff last year, their first such win since 1992.

Carolina has a three-game winning streak in Tallahassee. The longest Tar Heel winning streak at FSU is four games (1993-96 and 1997-2001).
