Julius Peppers helped led the Panthers' to their first victory of the season over the lowly Redskins 20-17. Peppers registered two sacks and three quarterback hurries in the win. Hakeem Nicks continues to impress for the New York Giants, catching his second career touchdown pass, notching four catches for 49 yards in a win over the Raiders 44-7. Vonnie Holliday registered a huge sack fumble to help the Broncos overcome the Patriots 20-17 in overtime.
Sam Aiken, New England- Veteran saw action on special teams in the Patriots' 20-17 overtime defeat to the Broncos Sunday.
Ethan Albright, Washington- 15-year veteran deep snapper helped the Redskins successfully convert five punts and a 38 yard field goal in the Redskins' 20-17 loss to Carolina Sunday.
Kentwan Balmer, San Francisco- Second-year defensive tackle saw action in the 49ers' 45-10 loss to the Falcons Sunday.
Dre' Bly, San Francisco- Two-time Pro Bowl cornerback logged his 41st career interception and first as a 49er as San Francisco suffered a 45-10 defeat to Atlanta.
Jason Brown, St Louis- Veteran center helped the Rams rush for 122 yards in a 38-10 loss to Minnesota.
Alge Crumpler, Tennessee- Ninth-year tight end had three catches for 14 yards in the Titans' 31-9 loss to Indianapolis Sunday.
Greg Ellis, Oakland- Defensive end had two tackles and two assists in the Raiders' 44-7 loss to the Giants Sunday.
Brooks Foster, St Louis- Rookie wide receiver, who was the Rams' fifth-round pick this year, is on injured reserve after ankle surgery.
Madison Hedgecock, New York Giants- Fifth-year fullback led the way for Giants rushers to accumulate 220 yards as the Giants moved to 5-0 in a 44-7 victory over Oakland.
Jesse Holley, Dallas- Wide receiver is listed on the Cowboys' practice squad.
Vonnie Holliday, Denver- 33-year-old defensive tackle made one of the biggest plays of the day when he halted a potential game-winning drive by sacking New England quarterback Tom Brady and forcing a fumble. For the game, Holliday had three tackles as the Broncos moved to 5-0 with a 20-17 overtime victory over the Patriots.

Willie Parker, Pittsburgh- Running back was inactive for the second straight week with an injured toe as the Steelers defeated the Lions 28-20.

Richard Quinn, Denver- Rookie tight end recorded a tackle on special teams in the Broncos' 20-17 overtime win against New England.
Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh- Eighth-year kicker was perfect on four extra-point attempts in the Steelers' 28-20 win over the Lions.
Garrett Reynolds, Atlanta- Rookie offensive tackle was inactive in the Falcons' 45-10 win over San Francisco.
Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis- Veteran center anchored an offensive line that allowed zero sacks as the Colts offense continued to dominate opponents, moving to 5-0 with a 31-9 win over Tennessee.
Gerald Sensabaugh, Dallas- Safety was inactive with an injured thumb for the Cowboys' 26-20 overtime victory over Kansas City.
Ryan Sims, Tampa Bay- Defensive tackle started and had one tackle in the Buccaneers' 33-14 loss to Philadelphia Sunday.
Brandon Tate, New England- Rookie wide receiver, the Patriots' third-round pick, is listed as active but is on the non-football injury list.
Hilee Taylor, Carolina- Second-year defensive end was listed as inactive for the Panthers' 20-17 victory over the Redskins.
David Thornton, Tennessee- Former walk-on linebacker had seven tackles and one assist, but it was not enough as the Titans fell 31-9 to the Colts.
Greg Warren, Pittsburgh- Deep snapper helped Pittsburgh successfully convert four PATs and four punts in a 28-20 victory.
Wallace Wright, New York Jets- Veteran special teams ace registered three tackles in heartbreaking 31-27 loss to Miami.
