Julius Peppers registered two sacks and forced a fumble in a 28-21 win over Tampa Bay. Hakeem Nicks continues to impress for the Giants, posting his third straight game with a touchdown. Two former Heels, Richard Quinn and Vonnie Holliday helped defeat San Diego as the Broncos improve to 6-0 .
Sam Aiken, New England- 7th year wide receiver pulled down four receptions for 30 yards in a 59-0 thrashing of winless Tennessee.
Ethan Albright, Washington- 38-year-old deep snapper helped the Redskins go 2-2 on field goals, yet they ultimately fell 14-6 at the hands of Matt Cassel and Kansas City.
Kentwan Balmer, San Francisco- Second year defensive tackle had a bye week but plays at the Texans next week.
Dre' Bly, San Francisco- Veteran defensive back had a bye week but will travel to Houston in Week 7.
Jason Brown, St Louis- Starting center anchored the Rams' line as it took overtime for the Jaguars to knock off St. Louis 23-20.
Alge Crumpler, Tennessee- Nine-year veteran tight end returned one kickoff for 15 yards, while the Titans' struggled to mount a cohesive offensive attack against the Patriots in Foxboro.
Greg Ellis, Oakland- Pro bowl defensive end posted one tackle as the Raiders held the Philadelphia offense to no touchdowns in a 13-9 win.
Brooks Foster, St Louis- Rookie wide receiver, who was the Rams' fifth-round pick this year, is on injured reserve after ankle surgery.
Madison Hedgecock, New York Giants- Fullback led the charge as the Giants compiled 84 yards on the ground in a 48-27 loss at New Orleans.
Jesse Holley, Dallas- Wide receiver is listed on the Cowboys' practice squad.
Vonnie Holliday, Denver- Veteran defensive registered a fumble recovery and tackle in a another win for the Broncos over the Chargers Monday night.
Hakeem Nicks, New York Giants- Rookie wide receiver, the Giants' first round pick, was the shining star in an otherwise dismal day for New York offensively, reeling in 5 catches for 114 yards and one touchdown.
Willie Parker, Pittsburgh- Sixth-year running back rushed averaged 3.7 yards per carry and was also good for one reception for nine yards to help Pittsburgh remain tied atop the AFC North.
Julius Peppers, Carolina- Former All-America defensive end gave the Tampa Bay offense fits, recording seven tackles, three for a loss, two sacks, and one forced fumble, helping the Panthers survive a late 14-0 Buccaneer run and hold on for the 28-21 win.
Richard Quinn, Denver- Tight end, who was selected by the Broncos in the second round of the 2009 draft, played special teams helping the Broncos return a kick and punt return for a touchdown in a win over the Chargers.
Jeff Reed, Pittsburgh- Veteran kicker was perfect from 32 and 39 yards as the Steelers rolled 27-14 over Cleveland.
Garrett Reynolds, Atlanta- Rookie offensive tackle was inactive in the Falcons' 21-14 win over the Bears Sunday.
Jeff Saturday, Indianapolis- Three-time Pro Bowl center had a bye week but will take on the Rams next week.
Gerald Sensabaugh, Dallas- Starting safety had a bye week but will host the 4-1 Falcons next week in Cowboys Stadium.
Ryan Sims, Tampa Bay- Starting defensive tackle posted five tackles and one assist yet came up short in their bid for the season's first win.
Brandon Tate, New England- Rookie wide receiver, the Patriots' third-round pick, is listed as active but is on the non-football injury list.
Hilee Taylor, Carolina- Second-year defensive end was inactive for the Panther's 28-21 win over Tampa Bay Sunday.
David Thornton, Tennessee- Starting linebacker recorded one tackle and one assist in a 59-0 losing effort in snowy New England.
Greg Warren, Pittsburgh- Deep snapper helped fellow former Tar Heel convert three PATs and two field goals to help the Steelers improve to 4-2 on the season.
Wallace Wright, New York Jets- Veteran special teams ace posted one tackle as the Jets dropped an overtime loss 16-13 to Buffalo.
