Fans attending Saturday's Carolina-Virginia basketball game, which tips off at 4 p.m. at the Smith Center, should be aware of a very special halftime ceremony. For the first time ever, most of Carolina's living Basketball Hall of Famers will gather for a banner dedication ceremony. Billy Cunningham, Bob McAdoo, James Worthy, Dean Smith and, of course, Roy Williams are expected to be on hand.

Fans should remain in their seats for what promises to be a very memorable halftime that will include special videos and more. Larry Brown, Carolina's other living Hall of Famer, will also be recognized but will not attend due to NBA travel conflicts. Other Tar Heels in the Hall of Fame--who will be recognized on the banner--include Frank McGuire and Ben Carnevale.
